Writing Research
50-hour university-level research writing program. Original argumentation, methodology, and literary review — from first search to final draft.
A structured 50-hour curriculum that teaches university-level academic writing from the ground up. You will develop original arguments, learn research methodology, conduct literary reviews, and produce a polished long-form research paper. Prompts include a research proposal, TV show argument paper, character interview, scholar debate, an "all quotes / no quotes" exercise, and a full outline → draft → polished paper sequence. Required readings draw from UCL Press's "Becoming a Scholar," Edward Said, and Noam Chomsky. Videos by Peter Hopkins, Ted-Ed, and Better Book Clubs. Note: this program does not provide publishing opportunities.
